On the first day of school Team Tui and some of Team Kakapo went on a trip to Rotoroa island. When we arrived we were given a low down on the rules and how the days gonna go. First we went to one of the beaches and look closely at the sand trying to see any life form living there. We then were split into groups and were sent of swimming at mens bay. After that each group went on a long long walk around the island we were showed some of the places and told about the plants. We also saw heaps of native birds and had a good time.
